Policies
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for our services, all dogs must be:
- 4 months or older
- Dog and people friendly
- In good health (no diarrhea or other symptoms of illness for 5 days prior to drop-off)
- Spayed or Neutered (if 6 months or older)
- On flea prevention
Additionally, the following vaccinations must be up to date:
- Bordetella (6 month vaccination if given intranasal, 1 year if injectable)
- Distemper-Parvo
- Rabies (if 6 months or older
Policies
Drop off and pick up
- Boarding and daycare drop offs and pick ups during open hours
- No drop off or pick up during quiet time. If it's an emergency, an additional charge of $7.50 for daycare and $15 for boarding will be applied
- Early drop offs and pick ups have additional charge of $5 for every 10 minute increment before opening time
- Earliest drop off/pick up is 30 minutes before opening time
- Late drop offs and pick ups have additional charge of $5 for every 10 minute increment after closing time
- Latest drop off/pick up is 30 minutes after closing time
Boarding
- Food supplies by parent(s)
- $5 per meal if supplied by Lazy Dog Crazy Dog
- Boarding fees paid in full on day of drop off
- Boarding fees cover 24-hour periods starting from time of drop off. Daycare charges apply if pick up is 2 hours or more after drop off time
- Eg. Drop off at 8am Monday, pick up between 8 and 10am Tuesday = No daycare charge. Boarding charge of 1 night
- Eg. Drop off at 8am Monday, pick up at 11am Tuesday = Daycare charge of half a day ($12). Boarding charge of 1 night
- Eg. Drop off at 8am Monday, pick up at 3pm Tuesday = Daycare charge of 1 full day ($23). Boarding charge of 1 night
Prepaid passes
- All passes expire 4 months after date of purchase
- Passes can be shared by brothers and sisters
- No monetary refund on passes
Reservations and Deposits
- Reservations for boarding required and reservations for daycare encouraged
- Boarding reservations are only secured when deposit paid
- 1 night deposit per dog required at least 10 days prior to drop off day during non-holidays
- 2 nights deposit per dog required at least 20 days prior to drop off day during holidays
Cancellations and Refunds
- Full refund of boarding deposit if cancellation or reschedule made more than 1 day from opening hour of drop off day during non-holidays
- Full refund of boarding deposit if cancellation or reschedule made more than 2 days from opening hour of drop off day during holidays
- No refund of boarding deposit if cancellation made less than 1 day from opening hour of drop off day during non-holidays
- No refund of boarding deposit if cancellation made less than 2 days from opening hour of drop off day during holidays
- 1 night taken off prepaid boarding pass if cancellation or reschedule made less than 1 day from opening hour of drop off day during non-holidays
- 2 nights taken off prepaid boarding pass if cancellation or reschedule made less than 2 days from opening hour of drop off day during holidays
- Early boarding pick up: No refund but credit kept if less than 1 day notice during non-holidays
- Early boarding pick up: No refund but credit kept if less than 2 days notice during holidays
- Early boarding pick up: Full refund if more than 1 day notice during non-holidays and more than 2 days notice during holidays
